Principal Data Scientist (Polish Native)
We are seeking a Principal Data Scientist (Polish Native) to lead data analysis, red-teaming, and LLM evaluation initiatives for a cutting-edge voice fraud prevention platform deployed across millions of mobile devices globally. In this role, you will leverage advanced prompt engineering, GenAI capabilities, and agentic workflows to analyze conversation transcripts, model local scam tactics, and optimize AI detection models for a world-leading mobile OS ecosystem. You will serve as a subject matter expert for the Polish market, collaborating closely with global ML engineering teams to build high-quality evaluation pipelines, dataset generation workflows, and threat detection policies.
Essential functions
Research, define, and model Polish-specific voice scam tactics, fraud strategies, and edge-case scenarios to evaluate real-time call safety features.
Design, engineer, and refine complex prompts to reliably guide and automate LLM outputs for dataset generation, transcription annotation, and policy evaluation in Colab/internal frameworks.
Conduct rigorous model testing, red-teaming, and evaluation of Google-ecosystem LLMs to continuously improve detection accuracy and prevent social engineering fraud.
Generate, annotate, and validate high-quality datasets of call transcriptions and evaluation metrics for downstream ML engineering squads.
Explore and implement agentic AI approaches to automate data generation, testing pipelines, and workflow orchestration.
Act as a technical lead and domain expert (T4/Principal), mentoring team members, aligning cross-functional project deliverables, and driving operational excellence within a fast-paced global team.
Qualifications
Native-level fluency in Polish (speaking, reading, and writing) with a deep understanding of local social engineering and scam tactics.
6+ years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, GenAI Engineer, or in a similar AI-focused role.
Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and pipeline scripting.
Deep hands-on experience in Prompt Engineering, core LLM concepts, model evaluation methodologies, and managing LLM capabilities/limitations.
Proven track record of collaborating with ML engineering teams to build, validate, and deliver high-quality datasets.
Leadership experience with the ability to manage deadline-driven deliverables, navigate ambiguity, and own end-to-end analytical workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
Would be a plus
Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or Data Analytics.
Practical experience with Google Cloud data tools, Colab, and Google LLM/GenAI ecosystem technologies.
Experience implementing Agentic AI frameworks for automated workflow execution.
