Senior Delivery Manager

Essential functions

·      Oversee globally distributed engineering and project teams delivering 10+ concurrent implementation and support projects using Agile methodologies.

·      Establish, maintain, and continuously improve reliable delivery processes in alignment with industry best practices and corporate PMO standards.

·      Manage project margins, predictable execution models, and pricing models.

·      Collaborate with Sales to create technical proposals and resource estimates and lead the delivery side of commercial negotiations, including Statement of Work (SOW) and engagement plans.

·      Increase transparency within the delivery organization through regular and accurate status reporting to the Delivery Director.

·      Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations.

·      Establish effective communication channels between Grid Dynamics project teams and client organizations.

·      Expand and strengthen the team by attracting external talent and developing internal capabilities.

·      Define and implement training and knowledge-sharing programs to enhance team expertise.

·      Direct supervision of 1-4 Software Engineers.

·      Various worksites—job may allow for remote work, job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Management, Accounting, or a closely related field.

·      At least ONE (1) year of experience in the job offered or at least ONE (1) year of experience in the following:

1.       Leading presales engagements and translating IT architectures into commercially viable solution proposals across large-scale technology initiatives.

2.       Structuring and negotiating multi-million-dollar service agreements for technology services, including pricing models, delivery frameworks, and contractual risk allocation.

3.       Developing comprehensive SOWs that align solution architecture, delivery methodology, financial models, and contractual commitments.

4.       Designing scalable architectures and technology roadmaps supporting modernization initiatives across diverse platforms and technology stacks.

5.       End-to-End program governance across Sales and Delivery, including overseeing complex engagements from solution development through execution, ensuring alignment between commercial commitments, architecture decisions, and delivery outcomes.

6.       Advising senior stakeholders on technology strategy, organizational transformation, and the adoption of innovative platforms including AI-enabled and digital commerce solutions.
