Lead UI Engineer (Vue.js)

Essential functions

What You'll Do:

• Take ownership of code reviews and merge requests (MRs), ensuring best practices and high code quality in Vue.js.

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, setting a high standard in both technical execution and team collaboration.

• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering Manager, Scrum Master, and QA.

• Drive the development and design of new frontend features with a focus on usability and performance.

• Contribute to technical discussions, architecture planning, and strategic UI decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Vue.js with a strong portfolio of production-level applications.

• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear technical guidance.

• Comfortable owning the frontend development lifecycle—from design to release.

Team & Collaboration:
You’ll join a tight-knit team currently composed of:

• 1 Engineering Manager (EM)

• 1 Scrum Master (SM)

• 5 Developers

• 1 QA Engineer

Would be a plus

• Familiarity or experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.

• Experience working in distributed teams or cross-time zone collaboration.
