HR Operations Intern

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Operations Intern to support core administrative and compliance - related HR operations in Romania. This opportunity offers valuable exposure to HR practices within a dynamic, international setting and allows for the development of practical experience in HR operations.

Essential functions

  • Prepare employment contracts, addendums, and work-related certificates;

  • Manage employee documentation throughout the lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, updates) and maintain accurate digital and physical records;

  • Coordinate medical check-ups and health & safety documentation, including communication with service providers and proper record-keeping;

  • Ensure compliance with Romanian labor laws and internal HR policies, and support the implementation of HR procedures;

  • Respond to employee HR-related questions and requests

  • Collect and process payroll-related data (e.g., time off, overtime, contract changes);

  • Support benefit administration (e.g., private healthcare, flexible benefits);

  • Assist with employment background checks;

  • Ensure secure and GDPR-compliant handling of employee data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree studies in HR, Law, Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • Ability to understand of fundamental HR processes and Romanian labor law

  • Detail-oriented, organized, used to working with documents and systems

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficiency in Romanian and English (written and spoken)

  • Experience using relevant Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, filtering, basic data analysis)

  • High work ethic, sense of responsibility

  • Proactive, collaborative, and team-oriented attitude
