We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer who can bridge backend and frontend development in a data-intensive environment. You’ll be contributing to the development of a data pipeline between an internally-developed web app and internal databases, and enhancing statistical analysis tools for internal users. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional domains - statistical computing, API development, and data visualization- and enjoys mentoring others and shaping technical decisions.
Essential functions
Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate internal web applications with internal databases
Enhance and maintain regression analysis tools within the web platform
Implement intuitive data visualizations and front-end features using Vue.js and D3.js
Collaborate with data scientists to support statistical computation and modeling
Optimize performance of backend and frontend components
Participate in architecture discussions and guide decisions on tooling and design
Provide mentorship and code reviews to ensure team growth and code quality
Ensure maintainability and scalability through good documentation and best practices
Qualifications
5+ years of Python backend experience using Flask or Django
3+ years of frontend development with Vue.js (including Vue 3) and TypeScript
Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs
Solid understanding of database design and optimization
Experience with D3.js or other data visualization libraries
B1+ or higher level of English
Strong mentorship capabilities to support team growth
Ability to bridge technical domains (statistical analysis to visualization)
Clear communication skills, especially for complex technical concepts
Would be a plus
Experience with statistical data processing and visualization
Proficiency with scientific Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy)
Background in statistical modeling or computational mathematics
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and GCP
Experience migrating between frameworks (e.g., Vue 2 → Vue 3)
