About the Project:
This is a unique opportunity to lead the creation of a high-level system design and digital twin strategy. You'll define the architecture for modeling real-world CNC machines, robotic arms, and factory floors using NVIDIA Omniverse. Your work will directly enable smarter load balancing, predictive maintenance, and scheduling optimization, driving significant impact in a live production setting.
Essential functions
Architect a real-time digital twin ecosystem utilizing Omniverse Kit and the USD framework.
Lead the modeling of physical assets and systems with precision and scalability.
Develop simulations for factory layouts within Omniverse.
Define seamless data flows from physical systems (e.g., SCADA, PLCs) to the digital replica.
Establish and enforce best practices for digital twin lifecycle management.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in system architecture for industrial systems or simulation platforms.
Proficiency with Omniverse Kit, Isaac Sim, and USD.
Strong Python programming skills.
Deep understanding of CAD formats, 3D rendering, and scene graph management.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus).
Excellent leadership and documentation skills.
