Robotics Engineer – Python for Simulation & Automation
We're looking for a Robotics Engineer to join a cutting-edge project at the intersection of digital simulation and industrial automation. You’ll be modeling and simulating the behavior of robotic arms and CNC machines in a virtual environment to accurately reflect real-world factory dynamics. Your work will directly contribute to the development of a groundbreaking internal product that supports high-precision manufacturing processes.
You’ll be part of a newly formed team of engineers working on an innovative platform that bridges the physical and digital layers of factory automation, enabling better testing, validation, and deployment of automation systems.
Essential functions
Model robotic arms and CNC machines in Omniverse or other digital twin environments
Validate motion sequences, joint controls, and task execution logic
Simulate interactions with conveyors, control units, and other production systems
Translate G-code, ROS/ROS2 messages, or PLC logic into digital equivalents
Provide mechanical constraint and safety feedback to improve realism
Collaborate with engineering and automation teams to refine simulations and models
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in robotics, CNC systems, or factory automation
Proficiency with robotic simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or V-REP
Strong Python programming skills
Solid grasp of kinematics, motion control, and path planning
Familiarity with robotic safety standards and industrial automation practices
Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and machine specifications
Would be a plus
Exposure to digital twin technologies or factory simulation platforms
