DevOps Architect
We are looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Architect to join an established engineering team working on a high-volume data platform. This role involves modernizing and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure to support large-scale data processing and exchange. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving architectural decisions, improving automation, and ensuring scalability and performance across cloud environments. You’ll work closely with a stable, cross-functional team in a collaborative environment focused on reliability, growth, and modernization of a critical data system.
Essential functions
Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions
Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
Collaborate with development and data teams to support application deployment and operations
Monitor system performance and optimize for cost, availability, and scalability
Ensure security and compliance standards are met across environments
Provide technical leadership and guidance on DevOps best practices
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner
Contribute to infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives
Document infrastructure architecture and operational procedures
Qualifications
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture
Hands-on expertise with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Proficiency in Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, Azure SQL
Experience with Azure App Configuration, Application Insights, and Key Vault
Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks
Familiarity with pre-built images for Azure Databricks scaling
Solid understanding of infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed cloud environments
Experience working in Agile or DevOps-oriented teams
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Would be a plus
Experience with .NET and C# in the context of cloud-native applications
