Qualifications
What you need to have
Good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals: Statistics, Algorithms and Data Structures.
Basic engineering skills in Python,
Experience with VCS (preferably Git)
Basic understanding of Data Science concepts (supervised vs unsupervised, regression vs classification, overfitting vs underfitting etc)
Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
English: Upper-intermediate or higher (spoken and written)
Education: Technical education (BS or MS in a technical field or currently pursuing the degree)
Will be a plus
Experience with cloud services: GCP/ Azure/ AWS. Especially valuable if ML-services were used.
Proved experience in Python engineering
Experience in Data Science (pet or academic projects, hackathons etc.)
Experience of using Data Science tools and frameworks: Jupyther, scikit-learn, pandas, seaborn, pytorch etc
Domain knowledge outside of the Computer Science field
Would be a plus
On-hands experience with version of control (e.g. GIT)
Problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and other soft skills
