Solution Architect (Gen AI & GCP)
Are you ready to shape the technological future of the world's largest broadline food distributor? We are looking for a visionary Solution Architect to join our team and act as the technical backbone for a rapidly growing account.
In this high-visibility role, you will sit at the intersection of the client’s digital transformation. This isn't just a maintenance project - you will be building the future of Generative AI and Search using the cutting-edge Google Cloud innovations. You will bridge modern cloud platforms and enterprise backend systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Your architectural decisions will directly impact how food is distributed globally, offering significant exposure to executive leadership in a highly collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Essential functions
Solution Architecture & Design: Design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures that seamlessly integrate enterprise systems, cloud platforms, APIs, and data services.
Gen AI & LLM Integration: Design reliable AI architectures encompassing autonomous agents, planning, memory management, and dynamic tool/API usage.
Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and select appropriate foundational models (e.g., Gemini), Vector Databases, and Agent Development Kits (Google ADK, Vertex AI Agent Builder) to meet complex business needs.
RAG Pipelines & Optimization: Design reliable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and conduct regular system reviews to optimize LLM latency, manage API costs, mitigate AI hallucinations, and ensure strict data security guardrails.
Technical Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams in building cloud-native applications, ensuring best practices in hybrid ecosystems (Java/Spring for the backend, Python for AI services).
Documentation & Governance: Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards and governance policies.
Qualifications
Programming Languages: Strong coding ability and architectural experience with Java (Spring) and Python.
Cloud Expertise (GCP): Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including serverless architectures (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions) and AI-specific infrastructure.
Gen AI & LLMs: Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (e.g., Google Gemini) and working with Google ADK / Vertex AI Agent Builder.
Vector Databases: Proven experience with Vector DBs (e.g., Vertex AI Vector Search, Pinecone, Milvus) and designing memory systems for conversational agents.
System Integration: Proven ability to design platforms that seamlessly integrate with internal systems and external APIs.
DevOps & Agile: Solid experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Would be a plus
Advanced AI Patterns: Experience in developing complex LLM-powered systems, RAG, and agentic design patterns.
Model Fine-Tuning: Familiarity with LLM and embedding models fine-tuning techniques.
Consulting Background: Previous experience working in IT services, consulting, or client-facing architectural roles.
