Senior/Staff Full-stack engineer (Java/React)
At Grid Dynamics we are looking for a Senior/Staff Full-Stack Engineer with a strong focus on Java back-end development, complemented by experience in front-end development using React. This role involves building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications, developing robust and reliable back-end systems, and contributing to an engaging and responsive user interface.
Essential functions
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks
Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applications
Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript and modern front-end technologies
Ensure high-quality, clean and maintainable code by following best practices in both back-end and front-end development
Continuously enhance and optimize on-site functionality and user experience
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA engineers and other developers
Actively participate in Agile development processes (SDLC), including sprint planning, story estimation, daily stand-ups and design discussions
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Java (Java 18/21) with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Hibernate and building RESTful APIs
Solid experience with React.js, JavaScript and modern front-end technologies
Proven track record in designing and implementing microservices architecture and cloud deployments
Practical experience working with cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Upper-intermediate to advanced level of English, both written and spoken
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
