We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our client's dynamic team in Dublin. If you have a passion for building scalable web applications and thrive in collaborative environments, this is your chance to contribute to impactful projects at a leading technology company.
Essential functions
Develop and enhance features within an existing Ruby on Rails web application
Write comprehensive unit and system tests to ensure high-quality deliverables
Improve and expand CRUD operations within the evaluation data model and framework
Deliver simple, consistent solutions aligned with existing CSS and JavaScript standards
Enhance UI/UX to make data collection intuitive and accessible for a diverse user base
Build performant, customer-centric solutions that prioritise end-user satisfaction
Qualifications
Solid professional experience with Ruby on Rails development
Strong SQL expertise, particularly with PostgreSQL
Proficiency in understanding complex Rails controllers and nested model attributes
Experience with Bootstrap JS for frontend enhancements
Knowledge of ActiveJob frameworks for offloading background tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working effectively across teams and organisations
Would be a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
