Oleg KulikovSr. Director of Engineering, St. Petersburg Engineering CenterOleg Kulikov is a Sr. Director of Engineering of Saint Petersburg Engineering Center. He joined Grid Dynamics in 2009 as the first engineer in the newly established St. Petersburg office, where he quickly became the engineering manager and then the Director of the Center, which he built from scratch. Today, Oleg leads an elite engineering team responsible for designing, development and delivery of high-quality eCommerce solutions for world leading retailers. Prior to joining Grid Dynamics, Oleg was a Technical Lead at Exigen Services StarSoft, a global IT company that delivers business value and provides a lower risk alternative to conventional application outsourcing by leveraging Value-based Project Governance, Performance-based Contracts and Agile Development Practices. Previously, Oleg held Development Manager positions at T-Mobile and at Artezio, a leading offshore development and consultancy company, one of the top five outsourcing companies in Russia. Earlier in his career, he has served as a Senior Software Developer at Novosofit, Inc., one of the leading providers of integrated technology solutions and custom software development services worldwide. Oleg began his career as a Software Developer at IWC and then at Artificial Life company. Oleg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Novosibirsk State University, Russia. Victor SamoylovDirector of Engineering, Saratov Engineering CenterVictor Samoylov joined Grid Dynamics in 2006 as a founding engineer and remained instrumental to the company's success throughout the years. In his current role, Victor is responsible for managing all engineering functions of Saratov engineering center, the company's oldest engineering center. Prior to this appointment, Victor served as development manager on several high-profile projects, and before that, as senior engineer and client architect, expert in distributed computing, in-memory data grids and low-latency algorithms. Victor also has been responsible for the University relations and served as an Adjunct Professor of Saratov University and a Director of Grid Computing Lab, ran jointly by Grid Dynamics and Saratov University. In his youth, Victor successfully competed in the International Collegiate World Programming Contests, the most prestigious programming contest in the world organized by the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM). Victor holds a Master's of Science degree in Computer Science and a PhD in Discrete Mathematics and Cybernetics from Saratov State University, Russia. Konstantin MalyshevDirector of Engineering, Kharkov Engineering CenterKonstantin has joined Grid Dynamics as a Director of Engineering in September of 2010 with a mission to grow the company's Ukrainian development center. Under his leadership, the Kharkov office has grown 5x to become the second-largest engineering centers with diverse and vibrant expertise and client base. Konstantin has over 15 years experience in the software industry including business development, product development and general management. Prior to joining Grid Dynamics, Konstantin worked as a Program Manager for Atea, the leading Nordic and Baltic supplier of IT infrastructure. Previously, Konstantin served as a Senior Project Manager in GlobalLogic, one of the world leaders in software and R&D services. Earlier in his career, he has served as a Co-founder and Chief Architect of DELFI Software, provider of professional services in the areas of IT integration, software development, e-learning and knowledge management. Konstantin holds several engineering excellence awards, including the First Prize in annual Medida-Prix award, the most important international award for new media didactics in Europe, 2003 and the Grand Prize in the All-Ukrainian Contest of Scientific Works of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, 2000. Konstantin recieved a Masters of Science degree in Applied Mathematics with honors from Kharkov State Polytechnic University, Ukraine. Artem VorobievDirector of Engineering PMOArtem leads engineering PMO and constantly works on improving our global delivery processes making them more effective, transparent and agile. Artem joined Grid Dynamics in 2012 from Deutsche Bank where he ran business-critical initiatives as Vice President and won “Most transformative team” award. Prior to that, Artem was Director of Engineering at Exigen Services, responsible for running two offshore engineering centers in Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. Artem is Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner. He received a Masters of Science degree in Theoretical Physics with honors from Kazan State University, Russia. Ratmir PanovDirector of Client EngineeringRatmir runs a global customer engineering team responsible for architecture, design and implementation of one of the largest eCommerce platforms in the industry. Ratmir joined Grid Dynamics in 2008 as a distributed computing engineer in Saratov, Russia, where he was building eBay’s cloud management technology. Ratmir quickly progressed to senior engineer, then team lead, then technical architect on major technology development programs. In 2012 Ratmir relocated to the Bay Area to become client architect and then development manager in charge of major projects for next-generation eCommerce platform development. Prior to Grid Dynamics, Ratmir worked as engineer and manager for eCommerce and ERP solutions for Russian retailers. Slava KulakovDirector, Financial AccountsSlava oversees the relationships between Grid Dynamics and its key customers in the financial services industry and leads the delivery of complex and innovative programs with financial service clients. Slava brings over 10 years of experience in a series of technical leadership roles in high-tech industry with focus on processes and people management. Before joining Grid Dynamics, Slava served as the Vice President in Deutsche Bank, where he led IT Process Management organization, driving the transition to lean and agile development processes. Earlier in his career he hold management and senior technical positions at Exigen Services, a global IT company that provides application outsourcing and business transformation services. Slava began his career as a Java Software Engineer at ISIDA Informatics. Slava holds several excellence awards, which demonstrate his career development in Exigen Services: “Best newcomer of the year” in 2004, “Career of the year” in 2006, “Best Project Manager of the year” in 2007 and “Best of the best” in 2008. Slava recieved a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science with honors from Saint-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, Russia. Anna LychaginaDirector of Human Capital, Russia and UkraineAnna joined Grid Dynamics in Autumn 2012 to take over the offshore HR activities and to further develop Grid Dynamics through its Human Capital. Her areas of responsibility are: talent acquisition and retention, personnel development, motivation. She oversees and develops company HR practices and policies including compensation and benefits, HR legal matters, employee relations, cultural awareness. Anna has over 10 years of leading HR experience in IT companies. She used to develop HR practices from scratch as well as to manage existing structures in small, medium and large IT businesses including 4 years at Sun Microsystems and Oracle as Employee Learning Expert and Talent Development Consultant. Anna graduated with honors from Baltic State Technical University in St. Petersburg in 2000 (International Industry Management) and afterwards studied Human Resources, Consulting, Business Training and Facilitation in a number of institutions from 2003 till 2011. Prior to Oracle, Igor worked for Sun Microsystems where he established IT operations of St.Petersburg location from the ground up in 2004. Igor has also worked for AtBusiness Communications, Russian oil, and gas industry, managing teams responsible for datacenters and other aspects of IT support for product development. He started his career in IT as a C developer in the early 90s. Igor graduated from St.Petersburg University of Information Technologies, Mechanic and Optics in 1998, with Bachelor of Science in Applied Math and Masters of Science in Computer Science.

Alexandra JohnsonBoard MemberAlexandra Johnson is a Board Member of Grid Dynamics representing DFJ VTB Aurora Venture Fund. She also serves as a Managing Director of DFJ VTB Aurora. Alexandra is a Silicon Valley-based partner and focuses on early stage technology companies headquartered both inside and outside of Russia and CIS. Previously, Alexandra was a founder and managing director of Landbridge Capital LLC, a technology transfer venture company linking Russian technologies with U.S. Expertise. Alexandra is also the President of the Global Technology Symposium held annually at Stanford University. The Symposium is the leading investment conference on venture capital, technology, and entrepreneurship in emerging markets. Alexandra received an M.A. with honors from the Far Eastern State University, Vladivostok and a Ph.D. from University of St. Petersburg. Eugene SteinbergGrid Dynamics Fellow and VP of TechnologyEugene joined Grid Dynamics in 2006 as the founding engineering manager and remained the company's top technologist and CTO throughout the years. Presently, Eugene is leading the development of the advanced eCommerce search engine. Eugene is an expert in scale-out, high-throughput and low-latency computing architectures. Amongst his many technical achievements are the pioneering designs of an eCommerce PaaS for LAMP applications, an integrated compute-data grid fabrics, and a real-time fraud detection for one of the largest online financial services companies. In addition to the technical leadership, Eugene held a number of senior business positions, including General Manager of Russian Operations. Max MartynovVP of EngineeringMax is responsible for management, optimization and growth of the engineering organization of Grid Dynamics, ensuring that the Company uses best-practice engineering standards. Max has joined Grid Dynamics in 2008 as senior engineer in Saratov, Russia and quickly grew in responsibility to Development Manager and then Practice Lead for high-performance computing. Under Max leadership, HPC practice grew from inception to a successful and growing segment of the company business, fueled by a strong business relationship with Microsoft.
