Senior Software Engineer, Search
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Search to join the Search team. This role works on the technology that powers product discovery and search relevancy across their digital platforms.
Tech stack: Java, GCP, Apache Solr, LucidWorks, Spring Boot, Apache Spark
Essential functions
Be part of the Search team, executing the technical implementation of Solr and Lucidworks Fusion functionality within the Pads Pro and ACES/PIES data domains.
Build and deploy integrations connecting Solr to a variety of data and content sources.
Partner with digital product owners and software engineers to build federated, personalized search experiences that deliver highly relevant results to users.
Optimize and tune search queries and indices to continuously improve search relevancy.
Qualifications
Strong, data-oriented Java development experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Solr and/or LucidWorks Fusion (Search Stax)
REST API design and development
Experience with Apache Spark
Experience with Spring Boot
Familiarity with ElasticSearch
Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
Ability to work across multiple contexts and workstreams simultaneously
