Senior Software Developer (Golang)

Yerevan, Armenia

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and scale high-performance business applications within a collaborative Agile environment. In this role, you will combine strong object-oriented design principles with modern platform engineering to deliver simple, robust solutions to complex technical challenges.

Working hours: Overlap until 3 pm PST time zone.

Essential functions

  • Participate in the end-to-end design and development of high-performance business applications from initial requirements to production.

  • Analyze application performance, optimize algorithms, and search for simple, robust solutions to complex system requirements.

  • Continuously improve software quality through code reviews, refactoring, comprehensive unit/integration testing, and adopting modern tools.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, QA engineers, and analysts in an Agile workflow driven by teamwork and innovation.

  • Evaluate and incorporate new libraries, modern technologies, and architectural best practices to keep the stack performing at its best.

Qualifications

  • Production software engineering experience with Go (Golang), Java, or Python.

  • Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design concepts, along with a firm grasp of core algorithms and Big O complexity analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with platform engineering, infrastructure tools (Terraform, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design conventions, version control systems (Git/SVN), and distributed system architecture.

  • Strong track record of writing clean code supported by robust unit and integration testing suites.

Would be a plus

  • Experience with automated performance profiling, query optimization, and advanced load testing in distributed setup environments.
