Data Scientist
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our global team of innovators.
In this role, you will work at the heart of a massive digital products ecosystem, handling over 65,000 transactions per second. You won't just analyze data—you will formulate complex business problems into technical solutions, building predictive models that optimize customer experiences and drive financial literacy for millions of users worldwide. Essential functions
Problem Formulation & Innovation: Translate high-level business challenges into technical data problems. Build and scale predictive models to optimize revenue, data insights, and customer experience.
End-to-End AI Lifecycle: Lead the full product cycle—from requirement gathering and data analysis to real-time model deployment and continuous monitoring.
Data Transformation: Perform scalable data transformations on both structured and unstructured datasets to fuel your models.
Pipeline Automation: Design and implement automated methods for all stages of the predictive pipeline to minimize manual labor in both development and production environments.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with other data science colleagues and cross-functional teams to provide strategic recommendations based on your analyses.
Client Engagement: Act as a technical consultant for internal and external partners, presenting results and guiding critical thinking through data-driven insights.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science or AI Engineering roles.
Education: Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) or a Bachelor’s in an analytical field such as Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics.
Modeling Mastery: Deep understanding of techniques including Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes, SVM, Decision Trees, and Neural Networks.
Big Data Tools: Proven ability to extract and aggregate data from large-scale datasets using SQL, Hive, or Spark.
Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, R, or Scala for large-scale data analysis.
ML & AI Tooling: Hands-on experience with machine learning packages and deploying models into production.
Visualization: Experience generating and visualizing insights using tools like Tableau.
Project Leadership: Track record of running projects from scoping to delivery, engaging effectively with stakeholders.
Would be a plus
Deep Learning: Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
NLP: Experience with Natural Language Processing techniques.
Domain Expertise: Previous exposure to financial services, credit cards, or merchant analytics.
Engineering Alignment: Experience working within Scrum teams and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS or GCP data solutions.
