Grid Dynamics is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer for a client in retail industry to migrate their EUC configuration management from SCCM on to Workspace One.
Essential functions
- Develop and maintain and support client's technical infrastructure that includes network, hardware, database, and system software components.
- Install DataDog agent on the Virtual machines
- Configure the Splunk forwarders
- Configure Dashboards in DataDog
- Configure Monitors and Alerts in the DataDog
- Configure synthetic tests for the services
- Configure SLI/SLO for the service
- Configure the above through the Terraform scripts
- Once the monitors are configured, we must fine-tune the thresholds to avoid false alerts.
- Integrated DataDog and Splunk with Pagerduty and Slack for collaboration and escalations.
- Collaborate with fellow SREs and other teams effectively to achieve quick diagnosis, resolution or effective handover of issues for progressive troubleshooting
- Analyze product performance and reliability, proposing and driving enhancements and improvements
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience
- DataDog
- Spluk
- Grafana dashborads
- New Relic alerts
- Pager Duty
- Scripting: bash
- Terraform
Would be a plus
- Experience with Mobile Device Management platforms such as Workspace One or In Tune.
- Experience with Group Policy Management
- Experience with Configuration Service Provider Management
- Experience with operating system commands and utilities as well as scripting
- Experience supporting a 24x7 retail operation
- Experience ,working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern engineering team
- Experience in troubleshooting and remediation within multiple Information technology disciplines
- Experience installing and upgrading applications or databases and performing system maintenance
