Senior Data Analyst
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with hands-on experience in Azure SQL Data Warehouse and Azure Databricks who transforms refined and structured data into interactive dashboards and reports. In this role, you will design and build compelling visualizations and data models, enabling stakeholders to gain actionable insights and make informed decisions. You'll work closely with business teams to understand their needs and translate them into powerful reporting solutions.
Essential functions
Design, develop, and maintain automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define functional specifications for reporting applications
Build and optimize data models to support accurate and efficient reporting
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reports and dashboards
Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable visual insights for non-technical audiences
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst, including work with Azure SQL Data Warehouse and Azure Databricks
Solid hands-on experience with Power BI, including report and dashboard development
Proficiency with the MS SQL Server BI Stack - including SSRS, T-SQL, Power Query, MDX, and DAX
Strong understanding of database concepts - relational database architecture, multidimensional database design, and data modeling best practices
Ability to gather and interpret business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Good communication skills to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or above, both spoken and written
Would be a plus
