Senior Java Developer (Fluent OMS Experience)
We are looking for a skilled Senior Java Engineer to join a large-scale digital transformation initiative focused on implementing a centralized Order Management System (OMS). The project aims to standardize and modernize the e-commerce architecture by introducing a unified order orchestration layer that manages the full order lifecycle including order capture, validation, routing, fulfillment, and returns. The system will serve as the single source of truth for order state and processing logic, enabling scalable, real-time operations across multiple business domains.
Essential functions
Develop and enhance backend services using Java
Contribute to the implementation of a centralized OMS platform
Design and build scalable, event-driven and API-based integrations
Participate in order lifecycle orchestration (capture, validation, routing, fulfillment, returns)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and integration teams
Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of the system
Support system integration across distributed and decoupled architectures
Qualifications
Strong experience with Java
Experience working on e-commerce platforms, OMS, and OMS integrations / composable commerce architectures
Hands-on experience with Fluent OMS is a strong advantage
Understanding of event-driven architecture and API integrations
Experience in distributed systems and scalable architectures
Familiarity with order lifecycle management processes
