Ruby on Rails Developer
We are seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to help build and maintain a scalable, self-service platform that accelerates promotion launches while empowering non-technical users. The platform is SOX-compliant, with built-in audit controls for operational integrity, performance monitoring, and personalized promotions. You will also oversee long-term support, maintenance, and future enhancements.
Essential functions
Develop and enhance a self-service platform that enables non-technical teams to launch promotions independently, reducing engineering dependency.
Ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and SOX-compliant, with built-in audit controls.
Integrate the platform with existing internal systems and workflows.
Manage long-term support, maintenance, and implementation of future enhancements to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong experience with Ruby on Rails
Experience with PostgreSQL
Familiarity with GraphQL
Experience with Apache Kafka
Experience with observability tools such as Datadog
Would be a plus
Experience with React and TypeScript
Background in microservice architecture
Good interpersonal and communication skills
