Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Java, Node.js, and Go.

• Build robust, high-performance applications using Spring Boot and modern server-side frameworks.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services following industry best practices.

• Participate in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures to support distributed systems.

Database & Data Management

• Design, implement, and optimize database schemas across MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Vector Databases.

• Develop and maintain efficient SQL/PLSQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimization strategies.

• Ensure data consistency, performance tuning, and reliability of database systems.

API Development & Integration

• Develop well-documented APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI standards.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams for seamless API integration.

• Use tools such as Postman for API testing, validation, and automation.

DevOps & Deployment

• Build, containerize, and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar automation tools.

• Support cloud-native development and deployment best practices.

Security & Compliance

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and OAuth2.

• Ensure secure communication through SSL/TLS and HTTPS protocols.

• Follow secure coding practices and vulnerability management guidelines.

Frontend Integration

• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate backend services with UI frameworks such as React and Angular.

• Support development and debugging of integration issues across full stack components.

• Provide backend support for UI performance and data handling requirements.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using JUnit, Mocha, Selenium, and Postman.

• Ensure code quality, test coverage, and adherence to development standards.

• Participate in code reviews and defect resolution processes.

Generative AI & Innovation

• Work on integrating Generative AI and LLM-based solutions using OpenAI GPT, Hugging Face Transformers, and LangChain frameworks.

• Apply prompt engineering techniques to enhance AI model outputs.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cline to improve development efficiency.

Version Control & Collaboration

• Manage source code using Git-based repositories including GitHub and Bitbucket.

• Follow branching strategies and version control best practices.

• Track development activities, sprint deliverables, and issue management using Jira.

• Work in Agile/Scrum environments collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for code, features, APIs, and system architecture.

• Ensure API documentation is consistently updated using Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Support knowledge sharing and mentoring within engineering teams.

Performance Optimization (Optional but Preferred)

• Analyze and optimize application performance using profiling tools.

• Implement caching strategies using technologies such as Redis.

• Work with load balancing and scalability techniques to enhance system performance.

Messaging & Event-Driven Architecture (Optional but Preferred)

• Develop and maintain event-driven and asynchronous systems using RabbitMQ and Kafka.

• Support reliable messaging, data streaming, and distributed processing architectures.
