Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner
We are looking for a Business Analyst / Product Owner for a big chain of stores, which sells pet products, services, and more!
Essential functions
Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure clear and actionable items.
Define user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Align product development with business goals and customer needs.
Act as the bridge between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring shared understanding.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Accept or reject deliverables based on predefined acceptance criteria.
Continuously gather feedback and adjust the backlog to maximize product value.
Qualifications
1. Experience & Background
Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a related role.
5+ years of experience.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum is a must).
Experience in backlog management, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
Background in product lifecycle management (from discovery to delivery).
Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, QA, and stakeholders.
2. Skills & Competencies
Strong communication skills – verbal and written, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Skilled in prioritization and decision-making, especially in ambiguous or high-pressure environments.
Deep understanding of customer-centric design and how to validate ideas (via data or feedback).
Analytical mindset with basic knowledge of metrics, KPIs, and data interpretation.
