Senior/Lead Back-End Engineer (Golang)
We are looking for a Senior/Lead Golang Engineer to design and develop high-performance microservices as part of a cross-functional, agile team. You will play a key role in building scalable, high-quality software solutions that support our core platform, working closely with Product Owners, Front-End Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams.
Essential functions
Take ownership of the architecture, design, and development of back-end services and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver scalable solutions
Gain a strong understanding of the client’s core product and architecture
Support and mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing
Build event-driven systems using technologies like Golang, Kafka, and PostgreSQL
Qualifications
A minimum of 6+ years of back-end development experience, with Golang as a preferred language
Solid experience working with containerized applications (e.g., Docker)
Practical experience in TDD, BDD, DDD, and distributed system design
Background in event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ and/or Kafka
Experience with relational and search databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch)
Familiarity with e-commerce or subscription-based businesses is a plus
