Join an internal initiative at a leading global technology company recognized for its cutting-edge consumer products and role in shaping trends across the tech industry.
The goal of the project is to design and develop a modern data warehouse (DWH) to centralize program and project management data, along with a suite of robust ETL pipelines, analytical tools, and data-driven web applications.
This platform integrates data from multiple internal systems (e.g., Jira, Project tracking tools), processes it into a highly performant analytical layer, and powers dashboards and applications used by over 200 stakeholders to drive decision-making across multiple departments.

Essential functions

  • Design and maintain scalable data warehouse architecture optimized for project and portfolio management use cases.

  • Build, test, and maintain high-performance ETL pipelines for hourly data ingestion and transformation from diverse data sources.

  • Develop internal analytics tools and web applications to support reporting, automation, and project optimization.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, participate in sprint planning, and document technical designs.

  • Proactively monitor job execution, system performance, and data quality metrics using Splunk, Hubble, and internal alerting systems.

  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with internal security policies and practices.

  • Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks and data issues in production.

  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Big Data Engineer, or similar role.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, Pandas and SQL in production environments.

  • Solid understanding of DWH principles and data modeling techniques.

  • Experience working with large-scale data pipelines.

  • Familiarity with job monitoring and logging platforms (e.g., Splunk, CloudWatch, or similar).

  • Proficient in debugging, optimizing, and profiling data jobs in distributed systems.

  • Experience in Agile teams with cross-functional collaboration.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.

  • Self-driven and proactive mindset, able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Would be a plus

  • Experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.

  • Exposure to back end work for internal data apps / integration AI to the data platform.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (Docker, Jenkins).

  • Background in analytics or experience building reporting layers.
