Senior Business Analyst
Grid Dynamics is looking for a Senior Business Analyst, to join our team in Belgrade or Novi Sad. This is a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale digital transformation, solve complex performance challenges, and directly influence the success of a major product launch.
Essential functions
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data and analytics solutions.
Define and manage data product roadmaps, feature sets, and release plans, aligning them with business strategy.
Conduct business analysis and user research to inform product decisions, identify opportunities and improve outcomes.
Oversee backlog management, ensuring clear prioritization, sprint planning and delivery of high-quality data products.
Implement and promote data governance and master data management (MDM) principles across all project phases.
Provide technical leadership on data architecture, modeling, and design decisions to support analytics and reporting.
Conduct and facilitate demos, presentations, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate business outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong programming proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
Solid hands-on experience with the AWS Big Data ecosystem, including data storage, processing, and analytics services.
Proven expertise with ETL tools such as Alteryx, or equivalent platforms used for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Advanced experience using data visualization tools like Tableau (or similar) to design and maintain dashboards and reports.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures, particularly leveraging AWS services.
Practical experience applying data governance principles, including data quality, lineage, and access control.
