Big Data Developer (Java + Spark)
We're seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to design and build critical financial technology solutions. This role is central to developing a tool that empowers financial advisors to manage client opportunities based on defined business rules.
Essential functions
Design, develop, and deploy Spark-based solutions for cleaning, transforming, and analyzing vast amounts of raw data. This includes working with Spark Streaming and applying Machine Learning techniques within the AWS environment.
Develop and design robust Java APIs, leveraging your deep experience with:
Utilize AWS SDK for Java to write code for deploying implemented services and manage data transfer from on-premises systems to the AWS cloud.
Write and optimize database queries for both Relational and Non-Relational Databases.
Qualifications
Primary Skills: Spark (with Java/Python), Java, AWS SDK (Java)
Frameworks/Tools: Java 8+, REST API, MQ, Spring JPA, Hibernate, Distributed Caching.
Cloud: AWS platform.
Would be a plus
Prior experience in the Fintech industry.
