Customer Support Engineer

Note: This role requires availability to work in shifts.
Essential functions
Act as a focal point for investigations, ensuring senior management is updated on high-priority issues and maintaining ownership of those issues
Report on significant daily tasks, including 3rd party activities and upcoming customer or project activities, while enhancing management summaries
Configure, tune or upgrade tools in collaboration with the infrastructure team to meet new requirements and demonstrate new tool usability to the team
Review and prepare for tool patches and assist with the assessment of new functionality
Qualifications
Experience with Linux/NIX administration and familiarity with Bash and/or Python scripting
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and industry best practices
Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems
Practical knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Intermediate or higher level of English, both written and spoken
Would be a plus
Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef or Ansible
