Senior Site Reliability Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Serbia and support our client, one of the oldest and largest department store chains in the United States.
Essential functions
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux/*NIX systems in a production environment
Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash and/or Python
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools
Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
Collaborate with the team using Git or other version control systems
Work with GCP services to support and improve cloud infrastructure
Participate in shift-based operations, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems
Contribute to improving infrastructure automation using configuration management tools
Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal form
Qualifications
Strong experience with Linux / *NIX system administration
Bash and/or Python scripting skills
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices (Jenkins is a plus)
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
Experience with Git or other version control systems
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
English proficiency - at least Intermediate level
Willingness to work in shift-based schedules
Would be a plus
